DOORS Classic to RQM/ETM Integration | Packaged Service
IBM DOORS Classic requirements can be integrated into an ELM deployment using ETM (RQM) to enable end-to-end requirements traceability and test coverage. This integration allows test cases and test execution results to be directly linked to requirements, improving visibility, validation, and quality assurance across the lifecycle.
321Gang assists with the full setup and configuration of the DOORS Classic and ETM integration, including:
-
Installation and configuration of DOORS Web Access (DWA)
-
Creation and configuration of the relationship between the ETM server and DOORS Classic
-
Configuration of the DOORS database server to accept requests from ETM
-
Assistance in selecting and mapping the appropriate DOORS project to the ETM project
-
Validation and testing of requirement-to-test case associations using the DOORS Classic client
To further enhance visibility, Lifecycle Query Engine (LQE) can be leveraged to create reports that provide insight into requirements traceability, test coverage, and validation status.
Integration is performed in alignment with IBM-recommended best practices and official IBM documentation to ensure a supported and reliable solution.
