This course is specially designed for network managers and administrators of Rational ClearQuest MultiSite installations. The course examines the special planning and maintenance issues involved in deploying, installing, operating and administering Rational ClearQuest MultiSite among geographically distributed sites.

SCM110: Principles of Defect and Change Tracking with Rational ClearQuest (or)

Required Experience

To benefit from this course, students must:

Know how to managing computer networks with TCP/IP protocols.
Have some system administrator experience, at least one-year, for UNIX and/or Microsoft Windows environments.
Have some basic knowledge of relational database management systems.
Know how to track defects and change requests with Rational ClearQuest.
Be able to develop scripts with VBScript and Perl.
