This follow-on webcast is the second in a series discussing how apply the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to complex embedded systems development. SAFe is an extensible framework created through collaborations with organizations that have successfully scaled agile practices. SAFe continuously evolves based on experiences with its applications at a wide variety of organizations and programs.
This talk discussing how engineering work, including requirements management, analysis and design, verification and validation, and traceability, fits into SAFe’s program backlog. We extend SAFe’s program backlog of Features to include additional engineering work and discuss how SAFe aligns Systems Engineering with other engineering disciplines around engineering practices. The value is a more continuous flow of engineering work to guide system development that reduces work in progress and allows for more timely decisions. The framework also includes the teams in the creation of those engineering artifacts.
