MATLAB and Simulink are widely used in complex systems and software engineering. This presentation will explore the integration points between these tools and Rational Rhapsody.
There are several integration points to Simulink including Requirements Management, Design Management, Control Systems Designer and Co-Simulation of models.
Integration with MATLAB revolves primarily around Parametric Models where MATLAB may be used as the mathematical engine to solve Parametric Models built in Rational Rhapsody.
These integrations provide some key benefits:
- Enable a true ‘top down’ architecture definition and management approach to systems which contain Simulink elements.
- Reduce downstream risk and integration times by genuine co-design and simulation.
- Enable Simulink users to make use of Rhapsody’s rich state machine definition support.
